The 10th installment of the iconic collaboration series “ZX 8000” between atmos and adidas Originals is here.
Introducing the “URA” — a reversed colorway of the first model, created in celebration of atmos’ 25th anniversary. This model pays homage to the original while flipping it on its head.
This latest model continues that legacy with added detail — the outsole now also features the same snakeskin pattern and glow-in-the-dark finish, offering continuity even underneath the foot. The nylon mesh upper retains design cues from the original ZX 8000, while the inner lining features the phrase “I WANT, I CAN” — a nod to the slogan first seen on the 1989 OG ZX 8000 model. The insole is printed with a composite logo, and hidden beneath it lies an engraved message that reflects on the journey of atmos and its deep-rooted connection with the ZX series in the Ura-Harajuku scene.
Celebrating the Japanese retailer's 25th anniversary, the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 'G-SNK 10 - Ura' presents a color-flipped version of the classic 'Aqua' colorway. A vibrant yellow hue is executed on the mesh upper, fortified with tonal pebbled leather overlays at the forefoot and heel. Contrasting pops of color arrive via purple leather detailing at the midfoot and back tab, along with signature three-stirpes in aqua blue. More Aqua appears on the adidas Trefoil on the exterior side and 25th anniversary branding on the interior side.
